2026/2027 Big O Tires Big Idea Submission Form

Three grants totaling $10,000 for Vancouver School Board schools: $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000. Submissions close December 18, 2026.

Please read the rules and guidelines before you submit. This form must be submitted by a faculty member from the school applying. Forms not submitted by a faculty member will be disqualified.

Your Big Idea must be submitted on behalf of a school within the Vancouver School Board. The school listed will receive the Big Idea grant funds.

Your Big Idea must be submitted and endorsed by an instructor or faculty member from the school above.

What is the need your Big Idea addresses in your community, and how did you identify it? One paragraph, no more than 4 sentences.

Who will benefit from your Big Idea? (For example students, seniors, people with disabilities.)

Describe your Big Idea in detail. This is your big pitch, so have fun with it. Attach any supporting materials below.

Big O Tires will provide up to $5,000 toward your Big Idea. What will the total cost be, including any costs beyond the grant, to build out and launch it?

Will your Big Idea need non-paid volunteers, donated venues or similar to run? If so, describe the support and how you will source it.

How long will it take to develop and launch your Big Idea? Can you launch it before the end of the school year?

Is your Big Idea a one-time initiative or ongoing? If ongoing, how will you manage and fund it beyond the grant and the current school year?
